Responsibilities
  • Operational Management of Accounts Payable:
  • Process, verify, and schedule payments for vendor invoices.
  • Handle day-to-day vendor inquiries and maintain vendor relationships.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and manage discrepancies efficiently.
  • Operational Handling of Accounts Receivable:
  • Generate and send invoices to customers.
  • Track and reconcile incoming payments and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Address and resolve any billing queries from customers promptly.
  • Daily Financial Operations:
  • Perform daily financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable’s and receivable’s data.
  • Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings, and statements.
  • Support monthly closing processes and assist with financial audits.
  • Operational Support:
  • Collaborate with other departments to facilitate financial operations.
  • Ensure all financial transactions are executed and documented in accordance with company policies.
  • Provide administrative support in areas related to finance when required.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • [Specify number, e.g., 2-3] years of operational experience in finance or accounting, preferably within the insurtech or fintech sector.
  • Proficiency in utilizing financial software and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and German.
