In this role you will manage a portfolio of Investor Protection products, such as SIX’s MIFID II, PRIIPs, and FinSA offerings, among others. You will own the strategic direction of your product set, including the business case, user profiling and the sales interaction needed to succeed. You will combine commercial experience with in-depth knowledge of financial regulations and products to extend business opportunities further into existing markets as well as into new segments. You will be responsible for the overall product positioning, marketing, quality, and revenue of these products and will work directly with SIX customers, partners, and internal teams to grow your product line.
As a senior member of the product team you will also contribute to the overall SIX strategy, ensuring the cohesiveness and competitiveness of the overall product portfolio. For this role, SIX offers a hybrid working model (SIX Office & Home Office).
- By talking to clients and our sales and sales support teams, and by observing and analyzing regulatory and industry trends, you will focus on commercial success and own the strategy and full product lifecycle of Investor Protection products
- Working in an agile development framework, you will manage and maintain the product roadmap and provide the business rationale and specifications for new data and content features
- You will act as key subject matter expert and will ensure the Product Catalog contains all internal and external documentation to enable SIX to successfully sell and support your products
- Working with other specialists on pricing, packaging, marketing, promotion, sales administration, you will ensure the product line exceeds customer expectations in all areas and so meets the overall strategy and commercial targets you have set
- You will act as the product ambassador and help promote the entire BFI’s Tax/Regulations product range at conferences, industry events and SIX’s marketing events
- A deep knowledge of the MiFID II regime and comparable regulations across the globe (PRIIPs, FinSA, HK SFC, UK FCA and US SEC Consumer Protection Rulings, among others) as well as understanding of future trends, such as for example Digital Assets, to assess their impact on investor protection
- 5+ years of Product management experience, ideally having held commercial targets for the success of products or services
- Experience in Banking, Compliance or Wealth Management on client investor protection projects
- Senior level customer relationship experience, especially working groups or advisory boards
- Excellent presentation skills, including public speaking
