HANSAINVEST has listed the BIT Global Technology Leaders UCITS ETF on SIX Swiss Exchange. This makes the Hamburg-based asset manager the exchange’s 39th ETF issuer.

The actively managed fund follows the EU’s UCITS directive. It gives investors exposure to a global, benchmark-agnostic portfolio of technology and AI infrastructure companies across developed and emerging markets.

BIT Capital built the strategy behind the ETF. Its approach filters holdings for technology and AI infrastructure companies using environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria.

The firm has run the Global Technology Leaders strategy since 2019. The new listing now makes it available in an actively managed, exchange-traded format.

Investors in the fund get the same portfolio, investment process and fund management team as the original strategy.

“With the listing of the BIT Global Technology Leaders UCITS ETF at SIX Swiss Exchange, we are making the proven global technology strategy of our partner BIT Capital available to investors in an efficient exchange-traded format,”

said Dr. Jörg W. Stotz, Spokesman of the Banagement board at HANSAINVEST.

“The listing further broadens the choice available to investors in Switzerland and underlines the continued relevance of active ETF strategies in areas shaped by long-term technological innovation,”

said Danielle Reischuk, Senior ETFs and ETPs Sales Manager at SIX Swiss Exchange.
