Unique, a Zurich-based vertical AI company developing agentic AI solutions for financial firms, has completed its Series A funding round, raising US$30 million.
This brings the company’s total investment to Us$53 million since its founding in 2021.
The round was led by CommerzVentures and DN Capital, with continued backing from existing investors, including VI Partners and Pictet Group.
Unique’s platform enables financial firms to deploy agentic AI through one of its 25 pre-built use cases or customised solutions.
Designed for back and middle-office functions, the platform integrates with existing systems to improve data processing and operational efficiency while ensuring compliance and security.
The company’s AI is used by financial institutions managing over US$2.3 trillion in assets, including Pictet Group, UBP, LGT Private Banking, and SIX. Pictet Group.

Unique has also appointed Dana Ritter as Chief Product Officer, effective April 2025.
Previously a Group Product Manager at Google DeepMind, Ritter led the launch of the Gemini project on Android and played a key role in Google’s agentic web capabilities, including Duplex on the Web.
