OKX has launched pre-IPO markets and tokenised stocks for eligible traders in Europe.
The rollout gives customers leveraged exposure to private companies such as OpenAI and Anthropic before they list. It also opens round-the-clock trading on public stocks.
Pre-IPO X-Perps start with two markets, OpenAI and Anthropic.
Traders can go long or short on each company’s implied valuation, with up to 10x leverage.
Positions can open and close at any time. OKX plans to add more pre-IPO markets over time.
The tokenised stock offering opens with 100 markets. These include SpaceX, Google, Nvidia and Palantir, plus the SPY and QQQ ETFs.
New markets will be added weekly. Customers can buy, sell and convert the tokens.
They can also trade them using several order types, including limit, market and stop orders, plus advanced options for larger trades, outside normal market hours.
Stock positions can serve as collateral for X-Perps trades. They can also be used inside OKX’s dollar-cost-averaging and grid trading bots.
Supported tokens can be moved on-chain, including to a self-custody wallet. They track the underlying share price but do not confer ownership or voting rights.

“Pre-IPO markets have been unavailable for most European traders on traditional brokerage and other regulated platforms,”
said Erald Ghoos, CEO of OKX Europe.
Both products sit inside the same OKX account as the exchange’s crypto spot, X-Perps, bots, earn and pay services.
Customers can use the same order types, bots and margin balance across all of them.
