The UK FinTech Mission to Austria and Switzerland 2021 is just around the corner this coming Thursday on the 28th January 2021 and here is all that you need to know about the webinar.

Organised by the UK Department for International Trade (DIT) and Scottish Development International (SDI), the virtual UK FinTech Mission 2021 will be discussing the latest trends, demands and solutions in finance and banking, insurance and investment between UK fintech startups as well as the Swiss and Austrian organisations.

This mission is an opportunity for UK startups to capitalise on the networking opportunities present in the Austrian and Switzerland ecosystems.

About 25% of entrepreneurs across the world report having a significant relationship with two or more entrepreneurs in London and these connections extend the UK’s market reach and drive innovation in a process that is inherently collaborative.

Forming these connections, both local and global, is imperative to drive innovation and extend the market reach of all players in an ecosystem.

Since the success of fintech startups are  increasingly dependent on their ability to innovate, the importance of these global networks to the performance of the UK tech sector cannot be overstated.

So far 37 UK startups have been selected across a wide range of sectors and verticals to showcase their solutions and services.

The UK FinTech Mission 2021 aims to offer its partners and participants in the market networking and learning opportunities by engaging with innovative business models, technologies and services emerging out of the UK market.

In the past three years, the UK FinTech Mission 2021 reportedly had 150 UK fintech startups in attendance, £65 million in signed business deals, 400+ participants from Austria and Switzerland as well as 550+ one-to-one meetings.

Registered attendees and associates from Austria and Switzerland can view company profiles and pitches, learn more about their products and services on the marketplace, chat and ask questions, and schedule 1:1 meetings. The deadline for registration is by the 26th January 2021.
