FuW Fintech Forum and Swiss FinTech Awards Night Postponed Due To Corona
by Fintechnews Switzerland March 10, 2020In view of the latest developments, the organizers have decided yesterday to postpone the FuW Forum «FinTech 2020» and the «Swiss FinTech Awards Night» from 12 March to a later date this year.
The organizers said: “In the course of this weekend and today we have been informed by various employers that their enacted measures no longer allow employees to travel internationally or to participate in events of our size. This had made it impossible for various speakers to participate at very short notice.”
So it was decided to postpone the event because “by adhering to all the measures of the health authorities and the new situation with the speakers, we would no longer have been able to offer our participants the conference experience that we as FuW Forum want to stand for. We hope for your understanding for this decision and regret the circumstances very much.”
The organizers are now working on finding a new date for the conference with the speakers and partners.
The FinTech Conference has been postponed to 31 August 2020. www.fuw-forum.
