Temenos Innovation Jams Coming to Geneva, London and More, to Showcase Latest Fintech Advances

by February 22, 2017

Following on from 2016’s success, Temenos will be holding five Innovation Jams in 2017 in London, Geneva, Miami, Abu Dhabi and Singapore. This year, the company is partnering with local accelerators and incubators to offer new opportunities to participating startups.

Last year, the event attracted 58 fintech startups from over 17 countries around the world to compete during the company’s regional Innovation Jams. KERV, a startup that has developed a contactless payment ring, won last year’s startup competition.

Temenos Innovation Jams typically have between seven to 16 slots available for each event. Startups need to have a working prototype and each demo must be seven minutes or under.

Two winners are picked at each regional event: the People’s Choice for the entry with the most audience votes, and the Panel Choice picked by a panel of industry experts.

Winners from the regional events receive two free tickets to attend Temenos Community Forum, an event expected to be attended by over 1,200 financial services professionals. At the grand finale demo, an overall winner is crowned Innovation Jam winner 2017. They get invited to a press lunch where they will have the opportunity to talk to journalists about their business.

Many participants from the 2016 series are now members of the Temenos MarketPlace offering their innovative products and services directly to Temeros’ customer base via the cloud. Temenos MarketPlace is a free web-based application that allows users to search, find, use and manage business applications in one simple and secure site from anywhere.
