Aurionpro Transit is building on its partnership with Mastercard to support transit agencies in North America.
Through this work, the companies aim to help public transport agencies and government authorities upgrade their payment systems.
The Aurionpro Mastercard partnership also seeks to enhance the passenger experience.
In addition, the collaboration aims to make contactless transit payment solutions easier to evaluate, procure and deploy.
This includes support for practical procurement approaches and repeatable implementation methods.
It also covers clear pathways that can reduce complexity. At the same time, these pathways are meant to support local operational and policy requirements.
Together, the companies aim to help agencies introduce convenient and secure payment experiences across public transport. Their deployment models can scale to meet each agency’s needs.

“By bringing together our transit technology experience and Mastercard’s payments expertise, we aim to give agencies practical procurement and deployment options that can support their modernisation goals and improve the passenger experience,”
said Sanjay Bali, CEO at Aurionpro Transit.
“By combining our strengths, and leveraging Merchant Cloud’s gateway capabilities, we are enabling agencies to modernise payments and deliver better every day experiences for commuters and visitors across multiple modes of transport,”
said Chapin Flynn, SVP of Urban Mobility at Mastercard.
