FE fundinfo, a financial data and technology company headquartered in London, has acquired Lunar AI, a London-based AI firm.
The acquisition is part of FE fundinfo’s broader strategy to expand its technological capabilities within the investment management sector.
The deal brings Lunar AI’s leadership team, including Andrew Flook and Stathis Charitos, into FE fundinfo’s operations.
According to the company, the acquisition is intended to enhance its ability to automate investment processes and support clients with data-driven tools.
FE fundinfo said the integration of Lunar AI will support several areas of its service offering.
These include improvements in data quality, governance, and accessibility; automation of operational workflows; generation of investment narratives and reports; and support for outcomes-based product matching and portfolio construction.
The company stated that the acquisition reflects an ongoing response to demand from clients and partners for more advanced tools to manage efficiency, risk, and growth in a changing market environment.
FE fundinfo operates across Europe and Asia, offering data and technology solutions to asset managers, advisers, and platforms. Lunar AI specializes in applying machine learning and automation to financial services.
No financial terms of the transaction were disclosed.
