TP24 announced a significant leadership transition as Founder and Group CEO Ben James transitions to become Executive Chairman.

In this new role, Ben James will concentrate on strategic planning and fundraising initiatives, ensuring the company’s continued growth and enabling long-term success.

Senior Executives Adam Lane and David Miller will step up as Co-CEOs, leveraging their combined expertise to continue to drive the company’s vision of doing business finance differently.

Since launching TP24 in 2018, Ben James has been the driving force behind its transformation from startup to an industry leader. Under his leadership, the company has gone from a small Swiss startup to a multinational with operations in Australia, Switzerland, and the UK providing $100m’s in much needed working capital to the SME segment. Now, as the company embarks on its next phase, Ben is poised to focus on strategic opportunities that will position TP24 with exit options and attract significant investment to fuel further growth, specifically in their new SaaS proposition.

“In the past 6 years, we’ve built something extraordinary at TP24, our product innovation still stands at the forefront of SME lending today and has originated over $10bn of receivables finance since its inception. As we look to the future, it’s crucial to focus on strategic opportunities that will take us to the next level,”

    said Ben

“I am confident that Adam and David are the perfect leaders to drive the business and continue our trajectory of innovation and success. Like me, both Adam and David had extensive careers at GE Capital prior to joining TP24 and their combined expertise and deep understanding of our business make them ideally suited to lead TP24 into its next chapter.”

    New Leadership: A Powerful Partnership

Adam Lane, previously Managing Director of TP24 Australia brings his extensive experience in SME Banking and a track record of senior leadership roles across GE Capital and National Australia Bank. In his new role Adam will oversee all commercial elements of the lending markets, as well as working with the team on the new SaaS model.

“I am delighted to step into this role alongside David,”

    said Adam.

“Together, we will continue to foster a culture of innovation, drive operational excellence, and ensure we remain at the forefront of our industry. David, Ben and I all spent much of the formative years of our careers at GE Capital, which taught us key principles evident at TP24 today”.

David Miller, previously Chief Financial Officer at TP24 has been instrumental in creating a solid shared services function and the continued development of second line risk. He brings extensive experience across risk, finance and innovation functions and senior leadership roles within the banking (GE Capital and Cembra Money Bank) and the insurance sector (FirstCaution). His leadership in Technology, Finance and Risk will be critical as TP24 scales new heights.
