Episode Six, a provider of enterprise-grade card issuing and ledger infrastructure headquartered in the US, has been selected by European fintech ZEN.COM as its technology partner.
The partnership will support the launch of new debit card programmes across Europe and Asia, as part of ZEN.COM’s ongoing international expansion.
This collaboration represents a key step for both companies: ZEN.COM, which is based in Poland, is entering the Asian market while also rolling out updated card offerings in Europe.
Episode Six will supply the underlying infrastructure, enabling ZEN.COM to introduce new card services efficiently and with greater flexibility.
ZEN.COM cited Episode Six’s established presence in Asia and its ability to deliver rapid go-to-market timelines globally as core reasons for the partnership.
According to both companies, these capabilities are difficult to match among traditional providers.
The partnership also adopts a cooperative authorisation model, allowing ZEN.COM to retain full control of its ledger while using Episode Six’s card issuing and transaction processing tools.

“ZEN.COM is entering a pivotal growth phase, and we’re proud to support their journey,”
said John Mitchell, CEO and Co-Founder of Episode Six.
“This partnership underscores what we hear from our clients everywhere, they’re looking for speed, configurability, and control. Our infrastructure delivers all three.”
Michal Boguslawski, CEO, Europe at ZEN.COM, added:

“As we expand our footprint across Europe and launch in Asia, we need partners who can move with the same agility and ambition that defines ZEN.COM. Episode Six stood out for its proven ability to deliver fast, flexible, and scalable infrastructure. This collaboration gives us the freedom to build differentiated card experiences on our terms.”
The announcement comes amid a wider trend within the fintech sector, where even established firms are moving away from legacy systems in favour of platforms that offer improved adaptability, faster implementation, and international scalability.
Episode Six’s modular system is seen as particularly beneficial for companies looking to modernise without needing to replace their entire technology stack.
ZEN.COM currently offers services including multi-currency IBAN accounts, instant money transfers, various top-up methods (including cash), instant cashback, and its own payment cards. Flexibility and user-oriented financial tools remain central to its offering.
