Etops, a technology provider for the wealth and asset management industry, has acquired Finanzportal24, a German company specialising in financial planning software.
The acquisition supports Etops’s strategy to expand its digital advisory offerings for financial service providers, including independent financial advisers, intermediaries, banks and insurance firms.
Finanzportal24 was founded in 2002 by Hubertus Schmidt and is based in Burbach, Germany.
The company develops software that helps professionals with financial planning, offering tools that are known for their ease of use, technical detail and practical application.
Its solutions are currently used by more than 4,500 users across Germany, primarily within the financial advisory sector.
Etops, headquartered in Cham, Switzerland, delivers modular technology solutions across the full value chain of wealth and asset management.
Its services cover financial data aggregation, portfolio management, reporting and client engagement tools.
The company supports more than 550 clients in Germany, Switzerland and other parts of continental Europe.
