Revolut has appointed Béatrice Cossa-Dumurgier as CEO for its new Western Europe headquarters in Paris, which will act as the central hub for the company’s banking activities across the region.
In this role, Cossa-Dumurgier will lead Revolut’s Western European operations and focus on obtaining a banking license from France’s banking regulator, the Autorité de Contrôle Prudentiel et de Résolution (ACPR), and the European Central Bank (ECB).
She joins the company’s EU banking leadership and will work alongside global leadership teams.
Sid Jajodia, Chief Banking Officer, continues to oversee Revolut’s global banking operations from its London headquarters.
This includes both Joe Heneghan, who leads the company’s Lithuanian-licensed European bank, and Francesca Carlesi, who heads Revolut’s UK business.
Cossa-Dumurgier commented:

“I’m delighted to be joining Revolut and would like to thank Nik Storonsky for his trust. Revolut is leading the most ambitious banking project in Europe today, and I’m proud to have the opportunity to play a key role in it. I am fully committed to putting my expertise to work for our customers, with the ambition of building lasting trust, not only with them, but also with the entire French and European banking ecosystem.”
Cossa-Dumurgier began her career at McKinsey and the French Ministry of Finance before joining BNP Paribas in 2004.
During her 15 years at the bank, she held several senior roles, including COO of Retail Banking and CEO of Personal Investors.
She later served as COO at BlaBlaCar and Believe, a digital music company.
Until recently, she was on the Board of Directors at Société Générale and continues to serve as an independent board member of Peugeot Invest.
