Zurich’s Blockchain Hub Moves to Paradeplatz

by December 10, 2019

Trust Square, the Swiss Blockchain working space, currently at Bahnhofstrasse, is announcing the move to its new location at Zurich’s Paradeplatz at the beginning of 2020. By moving into the building on Poststrasse, Trust Square is laying the foundation for the further development of its successful concept.

With the new location on Poststrasse, Zurich’s Trust Square hub has secured a permanent home in a prime location after the lease for the interim use of the Bahnhofstrasse property will expire as planned at the end of 2019. The new premises offer more than two hundred workstations, an event venue with capacity for 170 guests and a lounge area as a meeting place for the tech community. The Zurich hub will move into the new location in January 2020.

At the new location, Trust Square intends to continue its successful development of the past two years and further strengthen its position as a leading centre for research, development and implementation of trust-building technologies. Since its opening in April 2018, Trust Square has hosted 185 events, attracting nearly 13,000 visitors. In addition, 65 international delegations of government and company representatives have been welcomed at Bahnhofstrasse.

Startup Competition venture

At the start of the new location, more than 20 companies from the fields of blockchain, cyber security, internet of things and artificial intelligence will move into the Zurich hub, the vast majority of them existing Trust Square tenants. For the future, Trust Square plans to support startups in a more targeted manner, particularly with offers in the area of business acceleration.
