Temenos has announced that Kingdom Bank, a UK lender serving churches, charities and individuals, is now live on its SaaS platform running on Microsoft Azure.
The bank now uses Temenos Core, Payments and Financial Crime Mitigation.
These replace its older, separate systems and reduce manual work. The move is intended to improve resilience and support future growth.
Temenos said its API-based design allows the bank to connect with outside systems, including its clearing partner.
As a result, customers benefit from near-real-time clearing and better payment services.
The platform is also designed to help Kingdom Bank keep pace with changing customer needs and regulations.
Under the SaaS model, Temenos runs the technology platform. This frees the bank to focus on its mission instead of managing its own systems.
Kingdom Bank has served the UK Christian community for almost 70 years.
It takes deposits from savers and uses them to provide mortgages to churches, charities and ministry workers. Such borrowers may find it difficult to secure finance elsewhere.

“By depositing their savings with us, our customers make this lending possible,”
said Pod Bhogal, Chief Market Officer at Kingdom Bank.

“As well as reflecting our strong track record and continued momentum in the UK market, the project highlights how Temenos supports purpose-driven financial institutions in achieving both business and societal outcomes,”
said Mark Yamin-Ali, Managing Director for Europe at Temenos.
