The explosion in digital signage solutions and the growing number of digital signage software brands is one of the biggest stories in the world of EU marketing. EU companies have long understood the power of advertising, but in recent years stores and other retail locations have been embracing digital signage in a big way.

This growth has been spectacular, but it is not done yet. In fact, adoption rates for digital signage solutions are still growing fast, and it is important for all area business owners to be prepared. According to the research, EU digital signage market is expected to reach a CAGR of 10.8% in the forecast period of 2019 to 2026.

Digital signage is growing in popularity, but it is also growing in sophistication. As technology improves, EU customers can expect to see more elaborate digital signage, including signs that are remotely controlled from a central location and even signage that can be customized to the interests of every customer.

Even interactive digital signage software is now on the market, providing a true back and forth experience for customers – and more sales for EU businesses. Touch screens are important point of growth for the EU market, so expect to see more of these solutions entering the EU market in the coming years. By now customers are quite comfortable with touch screen options, with smartphones, tablets and other mobile devices using them quite effectively.

That growing comfort level provides EU business owners with a great opportunity, and many have already installed ordering kiosks, checkout queue digital signage and other solutions that can be controlled with the touch of a finger. In addition to the convenience factor, these touch screen options offer additional customization abilities, including full interactivity in many cases.

In fact, the growth of interactivity, and the growing customer demand for true interactivity, is sure to be one of the biggest marketing stories of the coming decade. Increasingly EU retailers have come to realize that modern consumers now expect an interactive experience, not only when they shop online but even when they visit their favorite EU branded stores.

Through the use of smartphone apps, checkout queue displays and digital signage and other software solutions, European businesses are now able to provide that interactivity, giving their brands a boost and helping them stand out in an increasingly crowded marketplace.

This meaningful and growing interactivity has benefits for businesses and customers alike. On the business side, interactivity can drive additional sales, suggesting additional products to buyers already queuing for payment and increasing the number of impulse purchases. On the customer side, interactive digital signage software provides entertainment, transforming waiting from something boring to something approaching fun.

Dynamic and interactive digital signage solutions have a place on the storefront and in the checkout queue, but they also have a place in the corporate boardroom and worker cubicle. Businesses in the Europe are increasingly using these modern screens to communicate important messages, test marketing plans and train employees, and more of these solutions are expected in the future.

Back on the retail side, the owners of EU retail stores are keeping their digital signage updated and taking the lead in providing relevant marketing messages to their customers. The majority of business owners surveyed said that they had updated their digital signs recently, and many others had plans to do so in the near future. The creation and updating of content are easy with digital signage software, providing business owners with yet another benefit.

    Look Digital Signage

Playing the European digital signage market can be a complicated process, but there are ample opportunities available for the smart and well prepared. If you want to build your brand, expand your business and employ digital signage solutions throughout the EU market, it pays to work with one of the leaders of the market. Working with an industry leader will improve your odds of success, give you the tools you need to get up and running quickly and provide you with a deeper understanding of how this marketplace works, who the major players are and where the marketing world goes from here.
