Swiss Life enters a strategic partnership with the business software provider bexio and simultaneously becomes one of the largest shareholders in the company. SMEs will profit in future from a simple and seamless integration of provisions solutions and personal insurance into the web-based salary accounting of bexio.
Swiss Life is investing in bexio and becoming one of the largest shareholders in the leading Swiss provider of web-based business software for small businesses. It has been agreed not to disclose the amount of participation. In addition, Markus Leibundgut, CEO of Swiss Life Switzerland, is becoming a new member of the Board of Directors of bexio.
The start-up already has over 10 000 customers and employs a staff of 50 at its Rapperswil location. With its web-based services – including for example efficient systems for order processing or automated salary accounting – bexio appeals to the same customer segment as Swiss Life.
