Stripe Pay has launched with support for instant business-to-business transfers in USD, GBP and USDC.
The service allows businesses to send funds without transfer fees using a recipient’s profile handle or network ID.
It is currently available in preview for eligible businesses in the United States (US) and United Kingdom (UK), with transfers limited to the same currency.
Users can access the service through the Stripe dashboard or command-line interface (CLI).
Senders must have a funded Stripe Treasury financial account, while recipients need either a Treasury financial account or a payout-enabled bank account linked to their profile.
Businesses can also use the Stripe Directory to search for and verify recipients if they do not have their handle or network ID.
CLI users must authenticate their accounts and confirm the recipient, amount, currency and source account before sending funds.
The CLI also supports automated workflows and allows users to validate transfers without moving money.
Introducing ‘stripe pay’, for instant business-to-business transfers. Find companies using their Stripe profile handle and send funds for free. Available in the Dashboard and CLI. https://t.co/kwQYLzhtNC
